You may need some oxygen at the second stop on our journey. Bloomdale, Ohio is one of the highest villages in Wood County at an astounding 748 feet above sea level. The village is also renowned for its excellent water which comes from wells in the actual ground! The water contains naturally-occurring minerals, like magnesium!
Of course, everyone knows Bloomdale for the famous Bloomdale Group of public intellectuals who reshaped American thought in the 1960s and 1970s. Ohioans all, this group included Alan Greenspan
Betty Friedan
Sly Stone
and "Don't call me Whitey" Ford
Whitey says "Pass me that joint, cats! Ya dig?"
Our Bloomdale bar will be the sparkling new Hydrant Tavern on Main Street
